Gateway With Brakemax Module

The Intermotive Gateway with Brakemax Module is part of the Gateway Fast Idle/Shift Interlock System with Brakemax Option for 2011-2012 Ford F-Series (Intermotive # GTW505BF, Coach and Equipment #13142). The Intermotive Gateway Fast Idle/Shift Interlock System will only work will enable the wheelchair lift when certain safety conditions are met, and will lock the transmission shifter in Park when the lift door is open and/or the Park Brake is applied. The Gateway Fast Idle/Shift Interlock System uses the Advanced Fast Idle System (AFIS) that will elevate the engine's idle speed in response to a number of triggers in order to assist electrical or mechanical systems on the vehicle. This Intermotive Gateway Fast Idle/Shift Interlock System features a Brakemax option that automatically puts the vehicle in Tow Haul mode at start up.
